Welcome Frank!

We’ve been looking for a CFO for nearly two years. It’s an integral position, and we really wanted to ensure that we’d found the right person.

A few weeks ago, we welcomed Frank to the team.

“We’ve been trying to fill this role for a long time,” Ryan says, “and we’ve been very picky. We had a clear set of criteria, and Frank fit them all perfectly. We’re at a unique position in our growth, so we were looking for someone who had the experience and the understanding of how we could continue to grow.

“His attitude is amazing. He’s got a great personality — he’s not a closed-door kinda guy. He’s personable, outgoing, smart, and articulate. We interviewed a ton of candidates, and no one matched his charisma, skill set, and experience.

“It was also important to us to find someone as passionate about Cape May County as we are, and Frank really loves the area. He fits right in.”

Welcome Frank Stempin!

"I plan to be here for a good, long time.”

Congrats, Noelle!

At Cape May Brewing Company and Cape Beverage, we really love promoting from within. It’s great to see a member of the Brew Crew who may have started at an entry-level job in the Tasting Room or in Packaging further their career by getting a job in the marketing department or moving up the chain to Cellarperson.

When Noelle Smuz began working in the Brewtique this past September, she was hoping to do exactly that.

“When I interviewed Noelle, I could tell she would do well in our company,” says Director of People Operations Christine Bry. “She has a calm demeanor, does not let herself get flustered — or at least does not show it –, and is great with personal interactions. Yes, she was enthusiastic about working here. Not a pest, but persistent — I can’t fault her for that!”

Congratulate Noelle on her promotion to Accounts Receivable and Credit Specialist for Cape Beverage!

“I just want to kick ass.”

Meet Cape Bev’s New Operations Manager… Justin Vitti!

He’s more than magic. He’s more than a mustache and a smile.

He’s a guy with a singular past that prepared him to be the new Operations Manager of Cape Beverage, with an accrued business acumen that only a background in sales, homebrewing, bartending, and distribution could possibly create.

That’s Justin Vitti: Pearl Jam fan, walking encyclopedic compilation of Harry Potter spells, and able to shove a nail through his septum.

Straight to the Pint has never formally introduced him to our readers. He’s sort of always existed as this force at Cape May Brewing Co., doing card tricks and ensuring that our beer gets to its final destination: your stomach.

Now, on the precipice of his new job, we wanted to get it down. Get it all down. Sit back, because Justin is known to tell stories.

And we’re starting at the very beginning.
